Our Elite De Niro mare is closely related to Soiree D'Amour

On returning from Verden and doing some research into pedigrees, I discovered that our Elite De Niro mare is descended from the same dam line as the stunningly beautiful Soiree D'Amour, the 2012 much feted Bundeschampion of three year old mares and geldings.  
A couple of weeks ago she also placed fifth in the World Breeding Championships for 5 year olds, but was clearly the crowd favourite to win.  Soiree D'Amour's great grandmother and Drogheda's grandmother is the same horse, Happy III, a beautiful Trakehner mare; and Soiree D'Amour's grandmother and Drogheda's mother are full sisters.  This is a very exciting discovery for the stud!
