Danish Warmblood Society visits Waverley Stud

54 members of the Danish Warmblood society visited Waverley Stud on September 12th, 2014.  The organiser of the trip said they had watched the success of the GB team in recent years, and wanted to visit some top British studs to see where the riders got their horses from.  The Society also visited Carl Hester, Fiona Bigwood and Anders Dahl, the National Stud, Blenheim and Woodlander Stud.  We showed the group a range of youngsters from foals, to yearlings and two year olds, and three year olds in various stages of work from lunge to long rein to under saddle.  Everyone was so appreciative with bursts of spontaneous applause, comments of 'TOP!! Top horse!!' and many compliments on the quality of our stock, the beauty of our mares and the quickness of hind legs. There was lots of discussion and sharing of ideas and it was altogether a highly enjoyable and rewarding day.
