A rider joins the Waverley Stud team!

We are delighted to announce that Greg Sims, Michael Eilberg's stable jockey, has agreed to bring on three of our young horses.  Greg, who bought a Dimaggio x Furst Heinrich colt from us in 2013, did his apprenticeship and then worked with Sandy Phillips before joining Team Eilberg.  He competes his own horse at Small Tour but is also wonderful with young horses.  He began riding for us in late October and is bringing on three young horses: Waverley Florisgold, a rising 4 year old mare by Floriscount x De Niro x Banditentraum; Waverley Bellagio, a rising 4 year old gelding by Belissimo M x Furst Heinrich x Der Clou; and a rising six year old State Premium mare by Desperados x Lauries Crusador x Tannenberg, Waverley Dalloway.  If all goes well, he will compete Florisgold and Bellagio in Young Horse Classes in the Spring (as four year olds) and Dalloway (who had a foal by For Compliment this year) in Novice classes.
